Mr. Brooks Point of View:

Over the next few days I tried to give Rebecca some space and treated her like a regular employee. I was trying to make the situation less awkward than it really was. It was hard for me to stay away from her because I still have feeling for her. If heartache hurts this much I don't know if I want to be rejected again. I was trying to get my mind off from Rebecca by helping as many customers that entered the store. Then, a certain customer enters the store an hour before we close. When Rebecca goes over to greet him, I felt a pang of jealousy because this guy caught her attention easily. She looked at him like he was the only guy in the room and seemed like the world only revolved around them. They both looked into each other's eyes for several minutes before either one of them said a word. I never saw her look at me like that, and she never acted as interested in me as she did with him. He wanted her opinion on almost every outfit he tried on, which was my breaking point. I couldn't stand to watch them any longer because it felt like my heart was going to break into pieces, and I had to leave.

Rebecca's Point of View:

I noticed Mr. Brooks was trying to distance himself from me because of what happened a few days ago. He hasn't tried to ask me out again, but I could tell that he still has feeling for me. I don't know why he's making the situation more awkward than it's supposed to be since I've only known him for a couple of weeks. Honestly, we don't know each other that well and I don't feel I'm ready for a relationship just yet.

I was busy cleaning out the dressing rooms when an attractive guy walks through the entrance. He has short brown hair and beautiful blue eyes that sparkle. He directly walks in my direction while ignoring all the other employee's. At first no words are exchanged between us because we were too busy staring into each other's eyes.

After a minute or so he says, "Hi, my name's Liam. I was wondering if you could help me chose and outfit for my friends wedding."

"Hello! My name is Rebecca. I will be glad to help you, are you looking for anything specific?"

"I'm the best man at the wedding, so probably something fancy."

"I think we have what you're looking for right over here." As I walk him to the section where the suites are located. When we reach the section he asks, "Would you mind if you gave me your opinion on a few suites?"

"Yea, sure. No problem!" He went into the dressing room to try on a few suites. The first suite he tried on showed how built and tall he is. When he makes a joke his personality is revealed.

"Do I look dashing enough?" He then winks at me and I try my hardest not to blush. He is really dashing though! He tried on several more suites and we finally agreed on one. Liam bought the suite and before he left he smiled at me while he said, "goodbye."

When I said bye to Liam, in the corner of my eye I saw Mr. Brooks glare at Liam before he leaves. I know I said I don't want to be in a relationship, but I hope Liam returns to the store again.

Clair's Point of View:

I've noticed that Mr. Brooks and Rebecca have been distancing themselves and he's not as flirtatious with her anymore. It appears that Rebecca doesn't reciprocate the same feeling for him. Which means I don't have to worry anymore about Rebecca, or so I thought. I saw Mr. Brooks on the sales floor and walked over to him. I said, "Hey, Mr. Brooks are you feeling well?"

"Not really, my life hasn't been going the way I want it to lately."

"Why? Do you want to talk about it?"

"No, but thanks for asking," as he looks off into the distance.

I bet he's still thinking about Rebecca, it seems like she's continuing to be a problem. I guess I'm going to have to find a way to get rid of her after all!

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
