These are a few of my favorite things.

This month has been the slightest taste of 2017 and from what I can tell, it doesn't seem too terrible. In case you need some motivation in the cold, tired, or ill, its about 320 days until Christmas, and thats all you need to hear. Without further ado, the monthly faves.

Spotify playlist. This mine has a lot of gems in it, simply due to the new year. The next best thing to being talked about at the end of the year, is being the only thing talked about at the beginning, at least in the music world. That being said, artists have been coming out with material left and right and below.

Glam Glow GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer. If you are on the hunt for a new moisturizer or just want your face to feel hydrated and glowy, you at least need a finger of this stuff. With very very light shimmer and a champagne mask, you will soon be confused with someone very holy.

Chocolate Holler. In light of local favorites, this one is easily added to the list. As an extension of a regular coffee hub, this unique chocolatier takes Willy Wonka to the brim. Whether you're in the mood for liquid cookie dough hot chocolate or a flight of chocolates with a splash of milk, @chocolateholler has you covered (in chocolate).

This Is Us. Yes, this is indeed the TV show everyone has been talking about. I haven't exactly gotten caught up to the real time NBC releases, but from what I have seen, I can tell why this appeals to so many people. Also, Mandy Moore being back on the globe is very ideal.

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly

. I'm more of a musk, amber kind of girl, but recently I've been drawn to this more floral scent. Perhaps the lust for spring and warm, it's a light, but flirty dose that everyone should sniff.

Made Good Chocolate Chip Granola Bars. I definitely used to be loyal to the Crunchy Peanut Butter Clif Bars, I'm not gonna lie, but recently these bars are what I've been reaching for. Surprisingly made with vegetables, and free from 8 allergens or so, these pack a large taste and multiple flavors for maximum yummy.

Tune in next month for the new new.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
