So this is Kristin Cavallari. Many of you recognize her from Laguna Beach and later seasons of The Hills. Or, you simply know her as the girl who makes Lauren Conrad run away from shows faster than I run towards Chipotle. Here are a few reasons why you need to get off your high horses (I'm talking to you #TeamLauren) and understand that Kristin is someone you should strive to be.
1. She's absolutely ruthless.
She is not here to make you feel better. She is not here to tell you the world is rainbows and butterflies. She is here to tell you the truth, even when it may have you stepping back and asking if you just heard her correctly (you did, btw). She is blunt. And you need to appreciate it. She is going to help you be a stronger, more confident person whether you realize it at the time, or not.
2. She is not afraid of confrontation.
Don't mess with her. Just don't. You will regret it. She has the balls to say what she needs to say to your face rather than behind your back 10 minutes later. The world would be a better place if people just said what they mean.
And don't ever think otherwise. Period.
4. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have one.
She is married to the absolutely beautiful (bias on my part, I don't apologize) quarterback of the Chicago Bears, Jay Cutler. If that doesn't impress you, she dated Stephen Colletti for a majority of Laguna Beach. And for all you #TeamLauren fans who hate her for "ruining" him and LC's "friendship" (LC was trying to be a home wrecker, get over it), she also had Talan Torriero drooling over the whole time and that boy was just a whole different level of attractive. So she has a dating résumé equivalent to that of Derek Jeter's: superb. Don't you wish you had her "experience?" Yeah, same.
5. Lastly, but most importantly, she is herself.
At the end of the day, Kristin knows who she is and is proud. That is all you should really want, right? To wake up every morning, look in the mirror, and be proud of the person you have become? That's what I thought.
So raise your cup if you are ready to officially be #TeamKristin (I say officially because #TeamKristin knows that #TeamLauren has secretly smiled, laughed, and/or liked her at some point)!
