1. God, I love this school.

2. Look at that puppy!

3. Does every guy here buy a puppy when the sun comes out?

4. Do I have to talk to the guy in order to get to the puppy?

5. I hope that frisbee doesn't hit me.

6. I hope that football doesn't hit me.

7. I hope that man throwing the football puts his shirt back on. Yes, we are all enjoying this warm shift of climate. However, the lack of clothing might be a little excessive for March. We know it's getting hot, but contrary to Nelly's musical proclamations, you probably shouldn't take off all your clothes.

8. Isn't it supposed to snow tomorrow? #Harrisonburg.

9. I need to add this to my Snap Story.

10. Pretend like you are laughing.

11. Should I skip my next class?

12. Look at that tour group.

13. Should we yell “J-M-U" at them?

14. Does anyone actually do that besides on tour groups?

15. I want to befriend that guitar player over there.

20. Okay, maybe I shouldn't.

21. Quad cats> Quad couples. Ah, the quad couple. An inevitable phenomenon best observed on a warm spring day. We love watching you guys make out and all, but where did the quad cats go?

22. How lucky am I? The vitality of our student body is tangible from the moment you set foot on the Quad. It is a microcosm of the warm community that JMU embraces and reminds us all why we chose this school. How fortunate we are to witness and participate in something so incredible.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
