As the Editor-in-Chief of the Odyssey at IU East, I see a lot of great articles and with such amazing content, it can be easy to overlook a creator.

As a way to help you make sure you’re not missing one of those creators right here in IU East, I plan to highlight someone from time to time that I think is creating exceptional content.

This week, that individual is McKenna Marshall.

McKenna has been with Odyssey since July. Week after week, McKenna has consistently impressed me with her well-written and inspiring articles. We are so lucky to have McKenna on our team because she brings a unique voice and a different perspective to IU East. As a dairy farmer, she not only reminds us of the importance of farmers but also gives us a glimpse into her busy life. I recently asked McKenna to share what she's gotten out of creating content for Odyssey:

“Writing for Odyssey has given me an outlet to express my own opinions and ideas. It has also given me the perfect platform to positively impact others, many of whom I would have never reached otherwise. Also, it is a super awesome stress reliever!” she said.

McKenna is a perfect example of what an Odyssey content creator is and she is a true leader in her community.
