Adopting a cat may seem easy as there are so many waiting for a new home, but did you know that their personalities differ slightly from breed to breed? All cats are sassy and all cats will want to love you when you're in the bathroom or on an important phone call, or even when you're in a deep sleep at 4 a.m.

The next time you visit the animal shelter, make sure you've read up on personality traits of common cat breeds that you can expect to see when you visit.

Check out these following fluffballs and see which one you match with!

1. Charles

Charles is a Persian kitty. He spends his day lounging on the window sill and watching the birds fly by. He enjoys watching Planet Earth and Chef's Table on Netflix as he is a peaceful and quiet man. When his owner gets home from work, he meows once and only once to remind them he loves them but mostly because he's ready to be fed his grain-free salmon formula cat food.

2. Samuel

Samuel is a shorthair Ocicat breed. Each spot on his furry body represents each 5k marathon he has run in his Brooklyn apartment. Since Sam is pretty athletic, he likes to join his owner at the gym where he concentrates on his biceps. Sam likes to look good for the ladies, or men. His owner still doesn't know what type of fluff he gravitates toward. If an active and social kitty is for you, then check out the Ocicat life.

3. Delilah

Delilah is a ragdoll cat who spends her days napping on the couch and playing with her toys while lying down. Because she's not the most active kitty, she likes to show her affection by laying on top of her owner's face while they are trying to sleep. Sometimes she does this so that she can be fed her special chicken formula breakfast at her favorite breakfast time, 5 a.m. If you're looking for a cat that prefers napping over anything else, then Delilah might just be the right cat for you.

4. Luna

Luna is a Siamese cat who expresses her many needs with an abundance of meows. When she's hungry, she will follow you around, meowing until there is food in her bowl. After her freshly prepared shrimp formula feast, she will insist on finding a spot on your body to lay and purr, even if you're standing. She's a sassy bundle of hair but with enough bonding, she can become your best friend.

5. Emily

Emily is a British Shorthair kitty who enjoys being around people. Whenever her owner has guests over, she shows her appreciation by rubbing her chubby body on every human she can. She makes up for the lack of meowing with an overload of purring. Sometimes, her owner uses her as a white noise machine when she has trouble falling asleep at night. If you have trouble falling asleep at night, consider adopting an Emily.

Whether you're a Delilah or a Samuel, or even an Emily, it's important to read up on cat breeds so you can find the right match for you.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
