If you are a human being (or even alive), then there's a good chance you eat food. You probably enjoy food, too. Maybe you eat holiday food, maybe you enjoy it, maybe you take it one step further and holiday food is pretty much your only will to live. Let's hope at least the first applies to you as you must eat to survive. And you have to eat to please your grandma. Holiday food is where it's at. I mean, all food is where it's at, but, lets be real, holiday food is superior to regular food for no real reason. So here is a list of the best (or worst?) holiday foods that you'll hopefully get to enjoy this winter! (Spoiler alert: I left out the meats because we need to focus on more important things--the side dishes.)

1. Pumpkin pie

I know there are many, many poor souls that don't enjoy pumpkin pie, but I can't leave it off the list. It practically is the list! The fluffy whipped topping and appealing orange filling demands to be eaten and never disappoints.

2. Stuffing

I don't care who you are, if you don't like stuffing then I don't like you. Stuffing is quite possibly one of the best inventions ever and we have been blessed to be alive during a time in which stuffing exists for our own consumption.

3. Mashed potatoes

Mashed potatoes aren't technically a seasonal food, but they taste better during the holidays. Maybe it's because you can pair them with turkey, gravy and bread.

4. Gravy

Mashed potatoes, paired with gravy might just be the best part of the holiday season. Maybe you mix your stuffing in, maybe you get some bread in on it. However you eat it, it's delicious.

5. Green bean casserole

I suppose this might be somewhat midwestern, but nonetheless delicious (whether you call it a hot dish or a casserole).

6. Hot chocolate

Not a food, but hot chocolate is delicious and deserves recognition. If you're looking to switch it up, try peppermint hot chocolate!

7. Christmas cookies

Whether they're the cheap, store bought, magically delicious cookies or the homemade, frosted cookies, they are always amazing and so much fun to make!

8. Gingerbread cookies

I don't understand why I love and hate these equally or why they are so perfect. Can anyone explain?

9. Eggnog

Eggnog is simply a requirement for the holidays. And, if you're over 21, then you should probably spike it. I don't know, just seems like a tradition.

10. Bread

Bread might be the best thing to ever be invented. No matter what form it takes, it always goes perfectly with whatever you're eating. For the holidays, it's especially delicious with mashed potatoes and gravy.

It's not quite time to enjoy these wonderful holiday foods, but 'tis the season and the holidays are indeed approaching. I couldn't be more excited. Did I make you drool? And if this isn't you when it's turkey time:

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
