It's Time For A New Season Of 'The Bachelor'

Not sure who's more excited, Bachelor Nation or the Bachelor himself

It's Time For A New Season Of 'The Bachelor'
Bachelor Nick Viall

The latest season of the Bachelor has just kicked off, and with the new season we are sure to have plenty of laughs, tears, clichés and cheesy moments. But unlike past seasons, we have a Bachelor who has already had his fair share of heartbreak on the show and can really relate to what the contestants are going through. Nick Viall was previously cast as somewhat of a villain on Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's seasons of the Bachelorette, and consequently ended up as the runner-up in both seasons. It wasn't until the past season of Bachelor in Paradise where the fans got to see a kinder side to Nick. It was clear there was definitely a lot of editing done in past seasons to make Nick look a lot worse than he actually was, and after having a good response from fans in Paradise, he was chosen as the new Bachelor (as someone who keeps coming back for more, I'm sure he's pretty excited to finally be in control). So this season is a time for Nick to finally find love, as well as redemption in the eyes of America.

For anyone considering watching the season I'm sure it will not disappoint. There is no doubt that there will be plenty of amazing dates in various romantic locations and lots of drama to keep things interesting. This season will be interesting to watch for frequent viewers who already know Nick well but get to see an even deeper side of him, as well as new viewers going into this with no bias against him. The show is also trying to present it like there is a large chance Nick will leave the show broken-hearted and rejected, as he did in past seasons. Though I think this is highly unlikely since all of these girls came here for a shot with him, it will still be interesting to see how it all plays out and if he will finally find love the right way, in front of millions of viewers.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
