Everybody starts hitting the gym in January to get their body "spring break ready." We all love the beach and feeling confident in our bikinis, but once we get there and even just leading up to break, can we stop being so serious about dieting for all the Insta pics?

I get working out and being healthy are super important for making you feel your best. But if you are actually getting stressed about it, IT'S NOT WORTH IT. Go back to your old diet.

Life is so stressful, between everyday things both big and small. For some people, working out is a great way to de-stress and feel healthy.

But if you are taking the diet and daily workouts too seriously, drop one or both.

A great aspect of being in the sun is vitamin D, which has also been found to make you happier! So just getting to spring break and spending some time in the sun de-stresses you.

Once you've made it to spring break, you will already feel better. So why don't you just eat a pizza and chill out? I promise it won't completely wreck your body, just eat some pizza and relax.

Enjoy your break and love your body. Don't try to fix what isn't broken in the first place.

There's a difference between choosing a better lifestyle because you want to live healthier, and doing something just to look better for spring break.

Spring break is one of the last mental "breaks" you get before finishing out another year of school. Whether the beginning of the semester is rough or great, ENJOY every second of a mental tap-out that you can.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
