The 12 Best Munchie Snacks, Ranked

Bored? Me too. That's why sometimes snacks are my best friends. But which ones to choose? Hopefully, this list helps you, because I know that it helps me when I am being indecisive, as usual.

12. Wheat Thins

I do not know about you but these have been a part of my life ever since I can remember. While they have been revised with new shapes and flavors, the originals are where it is at. These savory squares are salty yet complicated. Whatever words you want to describe the flavor as they are definitely delicious and deserved to be recognized.

11. Pretzels

Everyone needs something salty once in awhile, and there is nothing like Rold Gold's pretzels to satisfy that craving. While I prefer the honey twists, as I cannot put them down. You can get anything from sticks, to logs, to twists, to the classics, to the nuggets. With many tasty flavors. Just make sure you have water, putting down Rold Gold's is just about as hard as climbing up Mt. Everest.

10. Lays Chips

Yes, they are not packed with nutrients, but nowadays what is?? My favorite flavor is Sour Cream and Onion, but any flavor you can possibly think of is probably packaged in one of these bags of chips. Whether you want to eat them as a party favor or while lounging around on one of your lazy Sundays, these will be your best friend at either of those events.

9. Doritos

Watch out. These chips are not something to mess around with, especially if you are on a diet. I am pretty sure that these are designed so that you do not know when you are getting full. My little sister and I went through an entire bag while we were binge-watching Orange Is The New Black last week. My mom was not very pleased as she just bought them the day before at the store. But who can blame us for loving these cheesy and crunchy triangles.

8. Fritos

Like pretzels, these are another salty and flavorful snack. The small size of them will make them easy to grab and easy to eat. I prefer snacking on these rather than pretzels because the flavor is different, more addicting and just better. In my opinion. And they go great with dips!

7. Smartfood Popcorn

Perfect for when you want a cheesy snack, and you want popcorn, and you do not want to wait that 3 minutes for microwave popcorn to be ready. I eat a lot of popcorn and the only downside to eating it is getting the kernels stuck in your teeth... or throat. Which happens every time I eat popcorn, but it doesn't stop me from going back to Smartfood.

6. Cheetos

I love these baked goods. And I am sure that you do too. Whenever you get those combo packs of Cheetos, Chips, and all that wonderful goodness, you're lying to yourself if you do not dig around for the Cheetos in all that chaos. For the crazy people who love the spicy stuff, they got you covered. no, I am not talking about the puffs, I am talking about the small crunchy ones. My mom doesn't buy them for me anymore because I go through them so fast.

5. Cape Cod Chips

I do not know what it is about them, maybe because they fill the bag up more than Lays, or maybe because they are more crunchy, but these chips are to die for. Their sea salt and vinegar are so delicious and addicting that it is a dangerous, dangerous vice. Maybe I am biased because I spend every summer up there for a week, or maybe I just know a good snack when I taste one. But if you have Cape Cod chips, consider me yours.

4. Jax Cheese Curls

Jax is way better than Cheetos puffs. They have more flavor, more curl, and they are way cheaper. They are baked to perfection, the perfect amount of crunch, and the perfect amount of cheese flavor. Anytime I am craving cheesy deliciousness, I always go to the store and pick up a bag of Jax.

3. Cheez-It

I think that these are everybody's favorites. I have never met anyone who hasn't liked these baked crackers. They are not only tasty but come in so many flavors that you can never get too much of these squares. And neither can my bed, as it contains many crumbs from past Cheez It experiences.

2. Munchies

Doritos, Pretzels Sun Chips and Cheetos all in one bag. It hits every basic craving in one. It's no wonder how it got its name. No matter what you are craving, Munchies has your answer. That is why it is number two on my list, because there is only one thing that I would buy over Munchies.

1. Combos

You may have never heard of these, and that is because they are hard to find. I am not sure why, maybe it is because no one typically buys them and that's why it is hard to find. But I wish they were easier to find because I eat these anytime I can get my hands on them. Introduced to me by my friend on the way to basketball practice last year, I have asked my mom to get her hands on them ever since. And she has not been striking out. A delicious baked cracker, wrapped in a cheese filled inside. My taste buds explode. If you have never had these, I recommend you try to find them. Your life will be changed as soon as you try them. That is why they are my number one, go to snack.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
