You're in your twenties. You are about to graduate from college or you have. Life is about to just take off. But an engagement is not on its way and that's OK. At this age, majority of friends are now married or in new engagements. At first you are envious and a little jealous and that's natural and normal, but overall wish it was happening for you. When you are little you have this big picture of what you expect to have in life. You imagine you are a set age when you get engaged, then a set age when you want to get married. Unfortunately, when you are little you don't always think of the obstacles that you may face, or the amount of time it takes to find your prince. For the girl who has friends who are engaged and getting married, but you yourself are single, it is OK. Stay single. Do NOT just go out searching for a relationship because everyone else around you have found their prince. Don't settle, be picky. If you are not picky, you can go out and find a husband, but you won't find your prince. Be patient, there is a reason why it's just not your turn. Be positive on the situation instead of negative. God has something in store for you, trust in Him, and trust that when He wants your prince to show up in your life He will allow him to be there. If you are the girl who just got out of a serious relationship and is starting all over, be patient. The guy who you may have thought was your prince, just wasn't and that's OK. Be thankful that you now have something to reflect on what did not work for you. There is a reason for why that ended and remember that. To the girl who is in a relationship and eagerly waiting on your prince to pop the question, be patient. He may only be planning it, he may be wanting to be more financially stable, there may be a reason he just hasn't asked. Don't pressure him. Don't doubt him. Be patient with him. Girls your time is coming, it's just not YOUR time right now. Focus on praying for your prince, focus on praying that your prince and you are prepared and ready. Engagements are commitments and should not be taken lightly. So, girls sit back and be content that you don't have that ring on your finger just yet. God must have something in store for you, it's just not right now. And guess what? …. That is OK.
