The Truths Of Being An Only Child

There are a lot of misconceptions that go along with being an only child. Of course, as with anything and everything, being an only child has it perks – but also has its disadvantages. So here it goes, the truths of being an only child:

1. Not all of us are spoiled brats! (Okay, sometimes we are...)

2. Everyone becomes like a sibling!

3. Sometimes it gets lonely... really lonely.

4. You and your parents have a love-hate relationship.

5. Sometimes you just need to vent, but don't really have anyone to vent to, so...

6. Just because we're not always that great at sharing doesn't mean we don't care!

7. It's always your fault, even when it's not.

8. You don't have to share a bathroom with anyone!! (most of the time)

9. You realize blood means nothing. You really value and cherish your closest relationships.

10. You are ridiculously overprotected.

11.You know for a fact that no matter how much criticism or fights, your parents will always be your number one fan and no one else's...because they have no other children.
