A home is not complete without the people who form unbreakable connections inside of it. Without these loving souls, the hallways are void of echoing laughter, the couch cushions are stale and the pillows are tough. There is a silence in the night that communicates distance and loneliness.
A new home is quiet at first, the stillness lurks in the corners of empty bedrooms and vacant kitchen chairs. But suddenly, there is a buzzing as new residents make their way up the long, winding staircase and through the creaking wooden door for the very first time. The vacant spaces will soon be rejuvenated with furniture, clothing, trinkets, and pictures.
One bedroom comes to life as love and care radiate from its prideful possessions. Soon, the bedroom down the hall will do the same, as will the third on the bottom floor. Each has it's own individuality and creativity, differentiating between the dwellers and their varying personalities. They venture out to meet each other, exchanging words of welcome and curiosity. Where are you from? What brings you here? How are you liking everything so far?
Amongst all of the words exchanged, it's nice to meet you lingers in the echoing living room. It's nice to meet you signifies the beginning of the journey of togetherness and friendship.
Introductions become a relic of the past, as daily routines are lived out together, and wild adventures are embarked upon on the weekends.
