It's Almost Fall, Y'all!!!
Keep Calm

Words cannot explain how READY I am for FALL!!! Even the slight decrease in temperature in the last week has excited me (I went home and got every single pair of my UGGs). I've restocked on my K-Cups so I can prepare for my basic coffee, UGGs, and blanket Snapchats AND I've made a hair appointment to get that Fall worthy hair color. Oct. 1 cannot come fast enough. Here are a few things that I'm excited about for FALL!

1. UGGs, UGGs, and MORE UGGs!

Gotta keep my 'lil toes warm!

2. No more sweating when I walk to class :')

Because having to change clothes twice a day is NOT OKAY.

3. Pumpkin Spice Latte's

I try not to pay attention to the calories in these beautiful, angelic, worthy-of-being-praised, creations. Thank you, Starbucks. You give me life.

4. Sweatshirts, Yoga's/Leggings, Moccasins, and Blanket Scarves

Did I sleep in this outfit or wear it yesterday? Maybe. You don't know.

5. Basic, try-to-be-artsy, Snaphat pictures of coffee, a book that I more than likely won't read, and fuzzy socks

#BasicB****

6. Bean Boots and fun socks? I think so.

Even though I ordered my bean boots in a size 10 MEN'S (I was obviously so excited that I didn't pay attention to the fact that I was ordering not only the wrong size but the wrong size in the wrong gender) I'll double up on thick socks and ROCK my clown shoes.

7. Gained a few extra pounds? No big deal.

You have to prepare your body for the cold temperatures so that means adding a little bit of fluff. Self-conscious? Not to worry! One of the perks of Fall is that you can wear thick clothes and cover up!

8. BREAKS, BREAKS, and MORE BREAKS!

Fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas break! There's literally a break every month. How great is that?!

9. Homecooked meals!!!

You now have a reason to eat everything on the table and NOT feel bad about it. Chicken, green beans, corn, and let's not forget every type of pie you can think of!!!

10. HALLOWEEN

I love Halloween. Not only is there endless amounts of candy, but you also get to dress up in whatever kind of costume you want -- Cowgirl? You go, girl! Ninja? SUHHHWEET. Football player? NICE! Harley Quinn? Unoriginal, but OKAY!

11. Whether you're excited about the cold weather, the food, the drinks, or the time off from work, Fall is something serious to be thrilled over, y'all.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

Because we made it, and because high school seniors deserve to know what they're getting themselves into

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
