It's been a long day

Finals got me like`

It's been a long day

I'm going to take a hot second to basically just complain about how flipping tired I am. Now finals week seems to be a tough time for most, but geez am I tired. Obviously there's the endless school work that never stops and threatens to ruin your life every time you think about taking a second to breathe. On top of that I have two separate performances I have to remember lines and blocking for. With all that going on how could one possibly have time for extracurricular activities? MAGIC! Not only do I have to worry about that, I have relationships to maintain. I love seeing my friends and spending time with them which is crucial to my sanity but I may be over stretching my capabilities. Since all that is going on why not also worry about a boyfriend who I only see once a week because he has a busy life too! And if you thought that was bad, I'm anemic which means I don't have enough iron in my blood which means I'm tired, hungry and cold all the time. Oh wait, I almost forgot about how tired I am of so called friends talking smack behind your back. Like seriously, how old are you? All of that adding up makes for a very bizarre sleep schedule so even if I get to bed before 1AM I'm not going to be sleepy for another 2 hours. Rant over thanks for listening.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
