It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Thank God it's coming to an end.

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
The New York Times

I need to say something important, I really need to.

THANK GOD THE ELECTION IS ALMOST OVER!

I know I am not the only person who feels this way. It's like nowhere is safe from the political b.s. of the election.

I did however learn a lot during this time. Like, I have a lot more patience than I honestly believed. Also I learned that people really just love to be rude and push their opinions on others.

It's like we have entered some parallel universe where instead of living in a country where everyone is free and equal, we are being told to all be the same person and hate on someone who is different from us.

How is it that we have come so far but then fallen back so hard?

On one hand, we have a candidate who degrades women, bad mouths anybody who is not white, and has claimed bankruptcy more times than he has called his opponant a "Nasty Woman".

Then, we have another candidate who has lied more than a rug, and lost the trust of thousands. A candidate who flips, and flops more than the rubber shoes on my feet.

And third party voting? Why bother with that at all?

It's a no win situation. Or is it?

Haha just kidding.

No matter who wins, a majority of the country is going to be upset.

So, go out and vote. Why? Because no matter what there is no happy ending, but you might as well try to choose your own destiny and see where it takes the country.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
