Are you going to be in Boston this summer? If so, do you like frozen yogurt (also known as "froyo") ? Froyo is kind of like ice cream but not. It comes in a variety of flavors, it is more smooth and light than ice cream, and you have an array of toppings to choose from to put on it. Froyo is a great dessert to have on a nice spring/summer day. Now you're probably wondering where in Boston you can purchase some froyo. Here are some of the best places to get froyo in Boston in my opinion:

Pinkberry

Pinkberry is not exclusively located in Boston but we do have a couple locations you can visit: Prudential Center, Newbury Street, Logan Airport, and Harvard Square (Cambridge but close enough! It's right outside of the Harvard Square T stop!). Unlike other froyo places, Pinkberry is not self-served which has its pros and cons. Personally, I like that it is not self-served because when you self-serve it's easy to go a little overboard. You join the line and you tell your server what size you want and which flavor you would like. Then, you point to which toppings you want and they add them on for you. After your last topping, they hand you your cup and a spoon and you go to the register to pay. I typically spend no more five minutes there. If you feel like you will return throughout the summer and beyond (which you most likely will because it is so good), I would recommend getting their Pinkcard. It's a part of their rewards system.

Froyo World

Froyo World is located in Allston on Harvard Avenue. You can take the green line (the B line) to get there. This is a self-serve location but like I said earlier, this can get dangerous! Once you prepare your froyo, you weigh it then pay. The price depends on the weight of your froyo so try not to overdo it if you don't want to pay too much! I haven't been here in awhile but I remember it being so good. It's honestly hard to go wrong with froyo, especially if you're the one preparing it. Just make sure you like the flavor and toppings you're choosing.

Orange Leaf

Orange Leaf is another self-serve froyo shop. When I went to it, it was located in the Downtown area but it seems like it has recently moved to the Symphony Hall area. Don't quote me on this but I thought I saw it there and I tried to use Google Maps to confirm but it isn't showing up on there yet. That is probably because it is a fairly new location. With that if I'm completely wrong, then there are a couple more locations throughout the state if you find yourself going outside the city. It is another great froyo place worth trying!

Hopefully you enjoy your froyo at one of these places this summer!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
