Life is better in a pair of leggings.

It Took Me 20 Years To Accept The Fact That Every BODY Can Wear Leggings

I've recently entered the wonderful world of leggings. But it took me a LONG time to get here.

I envied the girls in high school who were confident enough to wear leggings. I always wore jeans instead because I could never find the confidence to wear leggings and be proud of myself in them.

I was so excited when I finally found a pair of leggings that I liked, however, I lacked the confidence to wear them with anything but an oversized hockey jersey.

I rarely wore them to school because I didn't want to hear the all of the comments.

"Girls like you shouldn't wear leggings."

"You need to buy different pants."

"Why are you wearing those?"

"That's not dressing for your body type."

My body type is MY body.

I can dress it in whatever way makes me feel the most confident.

As I approach 21 and look back at my teenage years, I wish I could have told my younger self to wear those leggings proudly. I wish she could have known and felt how almost-21-year-old Hannah does now.

This article isn't only about finding the perfect pair of leggings but also finding your confidence. Who cares if someone doesn't think I can rock a pair of leggings? Be confident in who you are. Own your brand – whatever you want it to be.

As I type this article (in my leggings of course), I still have miles to go in the realm of self-image acceptance and body positivity. But it is also important to reflect on how far we as individuals have come.

Do I care what you think about how my body looks in these leggings? No. It may have taken me 20 years to come to this point, but now that I'm here, you will never shame me out of my leggings.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help.
