And just when you think things won't get better; they do.
This is me telling you it always gets better. I promise you.
Think of the last time you were happy, and how amazing it felt to merely exist and be content. Waking up in the morning wasn't dreaded, going to school wasn’t impossible, and whether you came home or went out that night, nothing could really stop you. Remember how it felt. Remember how it felt.
Now, take your current situation. Whatever it is that's got you feeling down.. pinpoint it. If it's something you can physically change, then do it. If it's something you can mentally change, then do it. Make a decision that will make you happy. For once, please, be selfish in this sense.
Lean on the people you trust, and the people who you consider your “best friends.” Lean on yourself. Be your own anchor. Having support is great, but at some point, you're going to be the one supporting yourself. Pick yourself up and make a difference in your life. Make a change for the better. Make a change that will benefit you.
In the end, life always has a funny way of working itself out.
