From January to June 2016, 287 anti-Semitic incidents occurred on 64 different college campuses, at a staggering 45% increase compared to the previous year (Rice-Cameron, 2017). The BDS (Boycott Divestment Sanctions) movement is a leftist group that is responsible for pushing a renunciation of America's alliance with Israel.
Funded by "Students for Justice in Palestine," BDS is a Hamas offshoot—a radical organization made up of Palestinian youth who parade around college campuses, yelling, "Allahu Akbar" at Jewish students (United With Israel, 2017). Of course—like any people-group—there are kind Palestinians and Muslims who desire peace with the Israeli population.
However, despite widely-accepted lies and the message of the leftist agenda, there are currently over 680,030,000 radical Muslims—they even agree with the "honor killings" of women—who profess their beliefs across thousands of countries.
The evidence of this is provided in a poll that surveyed Muslims from 49 different countries. The Muslims were asked if they: 1) wanted sharia law, 2) if they view ISIS favorably, and 3) if suicide bombings and "honor killings" of women are ever justified, among other related questions (PEW research, 2017).
When the favorable percentages were all taken into account, the final number of participating, radically supportive Muslims came out to 680,030,000—over 1/10 of the entire world's population (Shapiro, 2014).
It's no wonder why Israel is under constant attack (Gross, 2019). Over 2,900 rockets and mortars have been fired into Israel (from Gaza) since 2012 (American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise, 2018). From July 25-26, 2018, nine rockets were fired into Israel from Gaza, miraculously rendering no injuries. Israel was forced to retaliate, striking only three members of the Hamas terror group (American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise, 2018).
Why is there so much hatred directed towards Israel? Despite claims that Israel has somehow incited or deserved these attacks, and blatant misrepresentations in the media, the underlying reason behind Palestinian hatred is pure, unadulterated anti-Semitism (Zuckerman, 2014). However, not wanting to incite even more attacks, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin graciously asked Prince William of England to extend Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas a "message of peace," in June of 2018 (Ahren, 2018).
In 1936, the British government intervened in the Israeli-Arab conflict by appeasing Israel and haphazardly thrusting their Arab neighbors into a nearly century-long fit of rage. Apparently, the fact that the Jews were allowed to possess a fraction of their original homeland was an infuriating, unacceptable thought for the Palestinian people.
The Zionists also protested Great Britain's decision. However, the anti-Semitic genocide of World War II was just barely enough evidence to convince Europeans that the Jewish people deserved a personal refuge (Zuckerman, 2014). The Palestinians were not so compassionate as their Zionist neighbors; they vowed to drench the Israeli flag in rivers of Jewish blood (Zuckerman, 2014).
Recently, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' personal advisor, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, repeated his forefathers' vow by announcing his hatred of Israel, calling Israelis/Jews the "enemies of Islam," and "enemies of Muslims" (Abelow, 2018). The Koran (Chapter 5:33) is also referenced in Al-Habbash's video: "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned" (American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise, 2019).
Al-Habbash went on to say that Jews have a "culture of Satan," and they represent "evil." Spouting similar views, in one of his sermons, Saudi sheikh Abd Al-Rahman Al-Sudayyis, the imam (preacher) at the Al-Haraam mosque, begged Allah to annihilate and completely destroy the Jews (Solnick, 2002).
The sheikh also urged the Arabs to give up peace initiatives with them because they are "the scum of the human race, the rats of the world, the violators of pacts and agreements, the murderers of the prophets, and the offspring of apes and pigs" (Solnick, 2002).
Chapter 5:60 of the Koran makes a direct reference to the Jewish people—calling them pigs—saying, "Say: Shall I inform you of (him who is) worse than this in retribution from Allah? (Worse is he) whom Allah has cursed and brought His wrath upon, and of whom He made apes and swine, and he who served the Shaitan; these are worse in place and more erring from the straight path" (American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise, 2019).
The Palestinian-Israeli War is not a fight for land. This is a religious war, rooted in timeless, violent anti-Semitism.
