Why do men think women are so complicated? Probably because they don't understand the obvious (to women)/subtle (to men) comments about how they feel. If only there was some way to tell boys what we mean... Well, this article is just that! This is for all of you oblivious men trying to understand women.

1. She asks you about a homework assignment she completed three weeks ago.

PSA: She already did the assignment. How do you know? She immediately starts talking about something else because what she really wants is to talk to you and not about homework. (winky face).

2. She laughs at all your jokes.

PSA: Not all of your jokes are that funny. That's okay! Some jokes just fall (my jokes run and jump off a cliff, just like this one). If this girl is laughing at all your jokes, it's because she really, really likes you. But these aren't pity laughs. She loves your quirkiness and genuinely believes that not funny joke you told is actually funny. After all, love is blind. Or deaf. Or something.

3. She remembers a story you told her a month ago.

PSA: Girls do not have the memory of an elephant. They make mental notes of what is important and what to remember - you were lucky enough to make this list! Hey, good for you.

4. She makes super awkward comments.

PSA: She feels just as awkward as you feel. Sometimes she has a great joke in her head, but her frazzled state mixes up her words. It's actually pretty sweet if you think about it.

5. She invites you to study.

PSA: "Study" is code for "hang out." This is a great and casual way to get to know you better and to see you outside of class. On the other hand, it is most likely not a date, so don't get too worked up about it.

6. You make eye contact all the time.

PSA: Even though she caught you looking at her, she was looking back at you. That is code for SHE WAS LOOKING BACK AT YOU. Get it? Okay.

7. She touches her face a lot.

PSA: This is one prime example of physical reactions the body has when responding to physical attraction. The face is vulnerable and she touches it to feel more comfortable because she feels anxious. Because you are there, making her feel anxious - because she likes you!

8. She teases you.

PSA: In Kindergarten, boys pulled on girls' pigtails. Now, college girls make fun of college boys. This playful teasing isn't a sign of dislike, but a way of addressing your adorable quirks without saying, "AYO bulldog, I like you, quirks and all."

9. She starts listening to your favorite music.

PSA: There's nothing wrong with your music, but if the girl you're interested in randomly starts listening to all your favorite bands, it's not because the beat is jamming. She might actually like your music, but she probably likes you more.

10. She tries to relate to you.

PSA: Most people don't ask about your childhood pets or lifelong aspirations. The girl that likes you probably will. She wants to make connections with you and get to know you better. This is a good sign. Try to get to know her, too.

11. She writes passive-aggressive articles about you.

PSA: This one speaks for itself.

You're welcome, boys of Union; boys of the world. Do what you will with this information. Good luck in all of your future endeavors.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
