Katy Hearn is the name that stands behind Alani-Nu supplements. The up and coming supplement brand claims to have no gimmicks or fillers, just nutritious supplements to boost your workout.
That's what they all say, though. The difference with Alani-Nu is that they're GMP-certified. As a plus, they use ingredients that you can actually pronounce.
As Alani-Nu is being recognized, they've been sold out of a lot of their products. So far, I've only gotten to try the energy drinks, pre-workout, BCAAs, and protein cookies.
I'm not a huge fan of protein snacks, such as cookies or brownies, but these were life-changing. I can never get past the chalky taste that most protein snacks have. Their chocolate chip cookie dough cookies have 16 grams of protein each and will fill you up before a long day of work.
The best part is that they didn't taste chalky at all!
The energy drinks are by far the most popular product they've produced. I've only had a few flavors, but my favorite has to be "rainbow candy". I was lucky enough to snag ONE can a few weeks ago from my local GNC. They haven't had a shipment of them since then. I am not a caffeine drinker, but after drinking this, I felt my energy levels boost! With only 10 calories in each can, that's not too bad.
I was able to workout without any struggles or me forcing myself to the next exercise. It was a relief.
Alani-Nu blew up so quickly that they're sold out of almost everything at GNC locations and the Alani-Nu website. People are raving about their on-point flavoring and their legit ingredients.
Their pre-workout is very similar to their energy drinks. The only difference I could point out is the flavoring. The pre-workout flavoring is much stronger tasting. Some may even taste a little sour.
Fitness gurus on Instagram are raving about ALL of their products. Something I would like to try in the future is Balance. Their Balance pills claim to help with hormonal balance, weight management, acne, and can even act as a natural sleeping aid. Listed below are the ingredients found in Balance.
Myo-Inositol: Promotes female fertility and restores insulin sensitivity.
L-Glutathione: Brightens complexion and reduces wrinkles by aiding in hydration.
DIM: Estrogen metabolism prevents drastic increases or decreases in estrogen. Prevents conversion of testosterone into estrogen.
ALA: Combined with Myo-Inositol; has been shown to increase insulin sensitivity in women who are overweight/have PCOS.
Chromium: Has been shown to improve blood sugar control and decrease weight gain/fat deposition in the mid section.
Folate: Has a positive action in cardiovascular, neural, and psycho-emotional health. Some may take this product to become fertile. Folate helps to support fetal development.
So, the answer is yes! it is worth the attention it's getting. They have a product and flavor for everyone. Now, we must wait for the restock!
