She would have reacted the same way.

So, if you're anything like me, then texting someone you like turns you into a crazy person. Here's the scenario: You like the guy you met in your bio class and you do all your group projects together. You bond over how boring it is. And finally, he asks for your number. Now what?

I sometimes hate texting because I never know how to act, because yes, you can act like something over text. Do I sound too eager? Too aloof? If they haven't responded for a half hour, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Lizzy McGuire, had she had an iPhone in her time (did she even have a cell phone?) would have reacted in the same way many of us do.

When he texts you first.

Woah!

And he asks for your Snapchat too.

What? I look like this all the time.

And you're super eager to respond.

You need to slow down.

You ask your friends for advice and they tell you to be chill.

Act cool, act cool.

But you text back, then a half hour's gone by and he hasn't responded.

Stay calm.

Then another hour.

What is he thinking?!

Then suddenly you tell yourself that you're "over it."

Psh, it's whatever. Doesn't matter. I'm fine.

Then he responds and tells you he was at work.

Oh... well I may have slightly overreacted.

But your friends assure you that we all overanalyze sometimes.

So I'm not crazy?

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
