A few days ago, Apple released the new iPhone 7. I personally have an iPhone 6s, and I love it. I don't like the new changes to the 7. Frankly, they scare me.
First, let's start with the biggest red flag: there's no headphone jack! What in the world was Apple thinking? I get that Bluetooth and wireless headphones exist, but they're usually more expensive, and I already have 12 pairs of wired headphones and ear buds. I don't want to have to buy more. Apple does include an adapter, but that limits the use of the phone because you can no longer charge your phone while using headphones. I sometimes charge my phone in my car while using an aux cord to listen to music through the car's stereo system. This is no longer possible with the 7.
Lastly, Apple made so many new changes, frankly I'm just waiting for all of the bugs and problems to arise. Remember that Samsung phone that was so new and revolutionary it would burst into flames? I do.
I'm keeping my 6s for as long as possible, and I hope Apple adds some things back in, namely the headphone jack, for the next iPhone.
