Yesterday Apple hosted their annual Fall developers conference where they announced what seems like the phone of our dreams as well as a new operating system and other watch features. The new iPhone 7 was announced yesterday as promised last week and seems to have delivered on everything people wanted: sleek, modern, new colors, durable, and water resistant, and more apps.

One of the biggest new apps in the world of gaming is Mario. Thats right, the “Father of Mario” himself, Shigeru Miyamoto made an appearance at WWDC to unveil Mario for the iPhone. This is the easiest way to play as our favorite plumber. Users will be able to play Mario once headed for the first time, allowing for safety on the subway or bus, or eating a hamburger. Unfortunately the game will have one set price and an exact release date has yet to be determined though they promise it will be out in time for the holidays.

iPhone 7 will come in new and different colors such as jet black, and black. These two shades have been designed and customized just for Apple. Through ionization baths, special washes and polishing techniques these new cases are exactly what we wanted, as consumers for the next iPhone.

With iPhone 7, users will have a fantastic, seamless integration with iOS 10. iOS 10 has countless new features ranging from a new Maps app that allows people to schedule rides to restaurants, automatically updated public transportation routes to a brand new Homekit and and Health kit.

For starters, the iPhone 7 has a brand new, innovative home button. The new home button uses solid state interaction technology, as with the MacBook trackpad. This new part of the hardware will also allow third party developers to gain programmable access when they build new apps, allowing for brand new interactions with software.

Next up, the headphones. iPhones will now feature brand new headphones. They are moving to a wireless headphone system allowing for us to get rid of the constant need to untangle the wires and worry about needing to fidget with the exact position of them after three uses. For those of the users that still prefer the 100+ year old system of audio, in every iPhone 7 box there will be a lightning to analog audio adapter so you can still use your phone. The new type of headphones will be called Apple Airpods. These tiny headphones will fit seamlessly into your ear, allowing for optimal sound into your years. They also will be able to control Siri with a double tap on the side. These headphones are truly the first of their kind.

Arguably the new iPhone is one of the best technological devices coming out. The new iPhone is now water and dust resistant putting it back on par with the Samsung Galaxy. Lately the iPhones have been not so grand in their “new technology” until now. The new camera on the back of the phone has new color sensing wide capture technology, 50% more flash capability, artificial light sensing technology, as well as optical image stabilization. In addition there is a second lens on the back on the camera containing telephoto features to get the optimal photograph. The images now taken on an iPhone are now no longer pics but real photographs. The front camera has been upgrade as well to a 6 megapixel camera.

Finally the last piece of hardware that apple is showing us with the iPhone 7 is the new Apple A10 Fusion processor. This processor has over 3.3 billion transistors making it the fastest processor on the market. This dual core processor will allow the 7 to run twice as fast as the iphone 6. The other two cores are for efficiency allowing the user to get the maximum battery life out of their phone. In terms of processing power the iPhone 7 will run over 100 times faster than the first iphone that came out 9 years ago. The iPhone 7 is finally not just a new tech toy, it is a work of art that will be sure to pave the way one more time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
