Every apple consumer has been asking questions and searching the cloud about rumors for months now. Well we are finally here. On Wednesday September 7th, 2016 Apple Inc. launched a keynote presentation. As part of this presentation, the new iPhone was introduced. So what should we expect from Apple's newest phone innovation? Well, here are a few important aspects.
For starters, Apple Engineers have reconstructed the actual body of the phone and as part of that they have taken away the 3.5mm headphone jack that we're all used to. This surprising decision has widely mixed feelings by its consumers. So why is it really gone in the first place? Space. Yes that's right, Apple has realized that space is now possibly more critical than anything. The new headphone jack will be accessible by the lightning port originally used for charging the iPhone. It has been said that the plan all along was to eventually use the lightning port for headphones.
Next up on the list we have storage space. The iPhone is now going up against its competitors for storage space. As a lot of consumers believe to be true, the storage space upgrade is long overdue. You now have the minimum storage space of 32 gigabytes to the space of 256 gigabytes. That's actually pretty impressive.
Now for the release date of the actual iPhone itself. September 16th is when it starts shipping and September 9th is at 3:01 am EST is the earliest you can order one. I am excited to see how it works and use it on a daily basis. I hope you are too.
