Apple users, it may be time for an upgrade...or perhaps not. As fall tradition goes, Apple dropped the newest addition to the iPhone smartphone series, the iPhone 6s, which although looking extremely similar to its predecessor, has new features.
The iPhone 6s's star feature is its 3D Touch. The new iPhones are able to recognize and perform actions based on the amount of pressure applied with a tap. The phone also comes with motion wallpapers and a newer rose gold color. Besides the stated, iPhone 6s also comes with improvements to some of it's previous features such as picture quality and Touch ID, among other performance improvements.

So the question that is burning in everyone's head—is it worth spending another hundred dollars for? In my opinion, unless you have an older generation iPhone, I would save your money. The phone is extremely similar in many ways to its predecessor and the improvements are not worth ditching it just yet. If you are a fan of taking better quality photos and the like, the quality is better, of course, on the newer phone. However, if it were up to me, for that feature I would stick with an iPhone 6 Plus, which an cater to both size and quality of pictures (although it is a lot more of a heavy load to carry for those not used to a bigger phone.) The 3D Touch is a newer feature that may appeal to fans of the iPad philosophy. The touch and pressure feature is neat, but it isn't essential if you're an everyday iPhone user who just uses your phone for everyday purposes. Unless you are dying to have the feature (which you have survived without it until now, so you don't) I would hold off.
The nifty little features might appeal to hardcore fans, but to the average user, it isn't worth the switch just yet. If it were up to me, I would wait until the iPhone 7 comes out, which is more than likely promised to feature something completely new and worth it. As a current iPhone 5 user, if I had the option to switch, I would go with the iPhone 6 or just wait for the 7.
