To the invisible ones.
To the behind the backdrop-ers.
To the names without faces and the faces without names.
You matter.
It can be hard to know how important you are. In a world where we look at the pretty faces, the loud voices, the ones that catch attention no matter where they go.
It can be easy to feel under-appreciated, unnoticed, and lost.
We might not be the face on the news screen, or the name on the cover of the best seller, we may not have voices that reign supreme on the Billboard Hot 100, or names that pop up on everyone’s Twitter feed.
But that doesn’t mean we have nothing to offer.
Without someone on the other side of the camera that face on the news is nothing more than a person talking to themselves in a room.
People may not believe in judging a book by its cover, but I bet a fair few people picked up that bestseller because the cover designer created a masterpiece that can’t be missed.
For the audience those behind the scenes are but shadows. However without those shadows the audience won’t get the show they want.
To the invisible ones, you are the reason that event was planned to perfection, the reason the audience can see and hear the face on stage, the reason people know where they are going, how to get there, and why all of the pieces fit together perfectly.
I’ve been there, I know how hard it can be to work hard without thanks or praise. This is what has gotten me through the confusions;
“I don't want riches or man's empty praise
You're my inheritance, now and always
You and You only, the first in my heart
High king of Heaven, my treasure You are”
{Rend Collective Experiment, You Are My Vision}
Who needs praise from man when we already have the love of the King of Kings?
To the invisible ones, you might feel invisible here on Earth, but I can tell you that you are more appreciated than you will ever know, not only here on earth, but by the only one who truly matters.
You have a name.
You are known.
You are visible.
You are important.
You are loved.
