Intersession Told By "The Office"

It's a new year and you know what that means! College kids are headed back to class to start their second semester. But if you go to a college like mine you get to experience the gold mine of all the semesters before starting the second semester. That is right: intersession. Three weeks. One class. Could it get ANY better than that? Here is intersession told by "The Office".

When you first get to school and you can't wait to see all of your friends even though it's only been three weeks.

And then realize you really do need to go to class and you get really sad.

So you actually go to class and your professor assigns homework on the first day.

You do the homework and realize that you only have ONE class to worry about and you don't know what to do with all of this mystical free time.

And then the weekend comes around and you need to morally, mentally, and emotionally prepare yourself.

Then you start celebrating for all of the HARD work you did at school this week.

AND THEN you realize that the weekend is over and you need to get your act together for the next couple days.

Sunday night rolls around and you really question what you did with all of this free time.

Just think you get to start this over all again and do everything again this week. The cycle continues.

However you spend your time during intersession, make sure you get your education on and also have a boat load of fun.

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
