Internship hunting is a new concept to many college students, as it's something we've never yet had to do in our lives. Although we still have time left in college before we are expected to join the real world and go on a real-world job hunt, internship hunting can be just as stressful. What you do in college can set you up for a lifetime of amazing career opportunities, so its time to start looking. Here is the full process of internship hunting as told by everyone's favorites, "The Kardashians."

1. It's Time To Get My Life In Order.

All of my friends have internships and we're about to graduate; maybe I should start looking for one too.

2. Fantasizing.

3. Applying For Only The Ritzy/Paid Internships.

I'm fabulous so I deserve a fabulous, well-paid internship.

4. Accepting That Those Don't Exist.

I should stop being so picky considering I need this for my resume.

5. Searching And Applying For Anything And Everything.

Suddenly I've become a frantic mess and all I do in my free time is search and apply for internships.

6. Hitting Up Career Services Because Nothing Is Working.

But why don't they love me?

7. Re-Vamping My Whole Resume/Life.

Basically, everything I've done up to this point has to be redone because of course I didn't do it right the first time.

8. Receiving The First Slur Of Emails.

Basically saying, "You are a great person and all, but you are extremely unqualified and our company wants nothing to do with you".

9. Facing Rejection.

Okay, this stings a little. How could they not want me?

10. Contemplating Dropping Out And Moving Back In With My Parents.

College and established careers are for chumps.

11. More Denials, Upon Denials, Upon Denials.

Why don't you just run me over with your car instead? That might hurt less.

12. Desperation.

I will do anything at this point for an internship.

13. Finally, An Interview!

They want to hear more?! God bless their beautiful, kind souls!

14. I Think They Liked Me…Maybe?

The stage of overanalyzing every little detail from the interview.

15. I Got It! I Am The Queen Of The World.

Everyone bow down, I am a working woman now.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
