One of my greatest talents is my talent to google someone and somehow stumble upon, for example, their voter ID. Now, before you start thinking 'Wow she is such a creep!' and exit my article, I just want everyone to know that I like knowing things about people I've met. Sometimes it is a little useful to know if my new coworker is a hardcore supporter of Donald Trump when I am currently subscribed to HillaryClinton.org email updates. Google is my best friend, and in this little how to article, it will be yours too.
To begin, open google in your browser (unless you use google chrome like me then just use the search bar at the top). Search the name of the person. For example, lets use me. So if you wanted to find my entire life out, you could open google, search "Caity Seals." When I search this, the first thing that pops up is my Twitter (@caitythekitty follow me), but, as I continue looking, I found some old newspaper articles from when I won a theatre award in high school. I found some of the old Prezis I made in middle school.
If you want to get even better, you could search with a location, now, mine wasn't very good. My twitter popped up again and so did some more articles about my theatre award. But I can confirm, searching one of my coworker's names didn't bring up anything really, but when I added his location to the end, I wish I could have you all see the results. As I mentioned earlier, I found his voter ID. I found his sibling's facebook (he doesn't have one). His voter ID was my favorite, but I also was able to find some of his old blogs from high school. Its crazy, what you can find on google.
Now, this is a pretty dumb article, but I just want you readers to take away that you should open a new tab and google yourself. Its crazy what the internet says about you that you don't know it is saying (and go ahead and google that cutie you work with, too. You never know what you'll find).
