Not really sure what to take for class in the fall of 2016? With registration coming up, everyone is frantically coming up with their dream schedules, back up schedules, and for some...schedules that are full of random classes for credits. Maybe you want a semester full of excitement and more importantly, a semester where you will enjoy your classes.

Here are 11 fun and and exciting, and interesting classes that are coming up in the fall of 2016 that you might find yourself wanting to take!

1. Exploring the Universe (PHYS 107)

I am taking this class currently and it is by far one of the best classes at BSU. It counts as your lab requirement, and if you take the night option, you get to go up to the observatory and look at the night sky. Honestly, this class is out of this world. (That was sort of funny so)

2. Sign Language (COMD 231)

I have been wanting to take Sign Language for the past few semesters. Hopefully I get around to it before I graduate. It fills fast so have that CRN number ready to go on the day of registration.

3. Television Studio Production (COMM 215)

What is better than to learn how to direct and edit your own TV show?

4. 2D Game Design (COMP 426)

I have always wanted to make my own video game.

5. Classical Mythology (ENGL 304)

I could take a million classes on mythology and never get bored.

6. Meteorology (GEOG 221)

Doesn't everyone want to know how to tell the weather?

7. Food Chemistry (CHEM 298)

Otherwise known as a food, science, and culture, this speaking intensive second year seminar is a must take if it is offered during the semester!

8. Forensic Geology (GEOL 180)

Learning how nature and geological conditions helps solve crimes...cool.

9. American Gothic Literature (ENGL 251)

If you need an english class to fill a requirement, but also want to be spooked, take this class.

10. Basic Rock Climbing (PHED 203)

SIGN ME UP.

11. Yoga (PHED 234)

So many of my friends have taken this class and told me it was totally worth it, and a relaxing way to get rid of stress during the semester.

Remember to make sure that you are actually able to take the class before you come running to me in tears because you can't get in! Good luck with registration!

A final note about choosing classes- If you take the spot in a class that I need to take and I do not end up getting in... beware.

Christmas Tree

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
