Anyone who has been in band before knows that you meet your best friends there. Sometimes they aren't always the ones you expect. Now, each section of the band has it's own collective personality, and they seem to line up with the personalities of the different "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" characters.

Flutes and Piccolos

Emily Waltham

Like Emily early on in her appearances, the flutes and piccolos are sweet and caring people. They are kind-hearted.

Clarinets and Oboes

https://media.giphy.com/media/xT0BKgqxLJLHtUsRJ6/giphy.gif

Janice

Clarinets and oboes are like Janice. They're just kind of always there. When they squeak instead of play I am instantly reminded of Janice's laugh.

Alto Saxophones

Mike Hannigan

Mike is a sweet guy who knows how to have fun in a unique way. The altos are basically the same in every way.

Tenor Saxophones

Monica Geller

Monica can be described as energetic, hyper, talkative, and having way too much energy. This describes the tenors to a tee. I have never met a more talkative group of people than the tenor saxes.

Baritone Saxophones

Richard Burke

Richard is the guy who looks unapproachable but also is a super sweet nice guy. Emphasis on the super sweet nice guy part. My bari sax friends in college band are so nice. They may look tough and unapproachable, but they're so nice and are great to converse with.

French Horns

Rachel Green

Like Rachel, the French Horns are spirited and funny. They care for their friends, even if it doesn't always appear like they do. They are a great group of people to be around!

Trumpets

https://media.giphy.com/media/RVW5PilbP2tLG/giphy.gif

Dr. Ross Geller

The trumpet ego SOO exists (and don't let anyone tell you it doesn't)! Much like the ego of Doctor Ross Geller. Ross has no problem telling people about his doctorate, much like the trumpets have no problem playing as loud as possible. Oftentimes both are unasked for.

Trombones

https://media.giphy.com/media/ESjlfUO4l68w0/giphy.gif

Gunther

Gunther is an oddball. The trombones are an odd group. They seem to have their own language for things, and sometimes can be awkward in conversation, like Gunther.

Baritones

https://media.giphy.com/media/usFFQTqGHYGQM/giphy.gif

Chandler Bing

The baritones are a funny bunch! They make jokes about literally anything and everything. It doesn't matter if it's appropriate or even if it makes much sense, they can make a joke out of anything and have a comeback for almost everything., much like Chandler.

Tubas

https://media.giphy.com/media/gD9fN082EsLwA/giphy.gif

Joey Tribbiani

The tubas are a fun bunch to be around. They are always hungry, they are loud and obnoxious, they are childish at times, but they are also some of the sweetest people I know.

Percussion

Phoebe Buffay

Percussion should be all I have to say, however that doesn't seem like it would be fair to percussionists. The percussion section is over the top like Phoebe. They are loud and hyper-active. They can't sit still and always have something to do.

Band friends are so much fun and they'll be there for you 'cause you're there for them too.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
