I remember as I was graduating high school I tried to do everything I could with my friends before they left. These are some ideas of pictures that will make a great Instagram post. I hope you a try a few of these and love taking them as much as I did.

1. Just a "crafty" post

Before me and my friends left we all decorated a letter to hang in our dorm. It was so fun and we all kept ours. We spent the whole time laughing and joking around and I believe it is definitely portrayed through this picture. There are many things you can DIY for your room and I find it so cool when I see people making their own decorations. This shot is one of the better ones we have taken and could be easily be replicated.

2. One last pic by your high school

My dad once told me how surprised he was to find that he never took any photos inside or outside his high school. He was disappointed with himself and told me to take at least one by my high school before we left the day of my graduation. I suggest taking a trip before you leave and take a group photo at your high school because that could have been where you met some of your lifelong friends.

3. Last hurrah at the beach

Oh, we are all going to miss the beach this coming school year. I always see pictures on Instagram of the last beach day with friends and get sad my self that they won't be around for a while. Laugh your worries away and smile for a photo on the beach.

4. Last luau

I called this one last luau because of the themed gathering we had. But, what I really mean is dress up for any theme and take a fun photo. That day we stopped at iParty and got cups, glow sticks, and leis just to fit in with the theme. These photos are great to look back on and reminisce in the coming school year.

5. Kiss your friend goodbye

I took this photo as the summer was beginning and thought it fit well in the theme of saying farewell to friends. This photo of me and one of my closest friends was a great photo in the trunk of my car. You can easily replicate this and make it your own, and it would look great on your Insta.

6. Last trip to your favorite place

This last trip to a restaurant in West Hartford, Connecticut became one of my favorite places. This photo was great showing all of our food and late night vibe with the darkened background. With my friends smiling faces, we took this photo and ran out because we got caught in the rain. Take a picture at your favorite place with your friends because those are the memories you will remember.

7. Last dinner together

Although this is not a picture of our dinner together I thought this funny picture really represented our friendship as a whole. I had never gotten an ice cream from this face place and really loved visiting it with these girls. The phrase "let your hair down" and feed your friend some ice cream is a great way of saying take some silly pictures too!

8. Throwback photo before we leave

I freaking love this photo because my friends and I look so young. I have had long nights by the fire talking, laughing and begging our friend's sister to come out and snap a picture of us. This photo around sophomore and junior year of high school always makes me smile because we were laughing hysterically that whole night. Post an old picture to reminisce on all the memories from the early days of your friendships.

9. Hugging a sister goodbye

This was the last picture before Ariel had left for Florida and I think it is so cute because we are hugging each other so hard. Although I never posted this I think it would represent a wrap up before college begins. We had so much fun that night and I will remember it for a long time.

10. Wrapping up with your summer work friends

This was my last day at my summer job. My friends always tease me because I I wasn't returning the following. At the time I didn't know but I came to that decision as summer grew closer. I love this photo of the last day of my favorite summer job with all my friends.

Altogether, take a lot of pictures whether you are graduating or not because life is moving quickly and everything is changing just as quick. I hope you use a few of these suggestions or all of them.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
