5 Instagram Influencers You Need To Follow Right Now

In case you've missed it, Instagram Influencers are kind of a thing right now. Lately, I've noticed just how much I pay attention to who I'm following because it does reflect who I am and what my account is about. By following these influencers, a lot of my real life is shaped by them, whether it be through encouragement or outfits. So, without further ado, here are five of my favorite Instagram Influencers!

1. @marykaterob

OK, Mary Kate is definitely my number one favorite person to follow on Instagram. She is the wife of John Luke Robertson from "Duck Dynasty," and I love her so much. I can't remember how I stumbled across her, but I knew as soon as I followed her it was a great choice. She doesn't post a ton, but when she does it's good content filled with awesome aesthetics and just overflowing with her faith. Mary Kate also runs a blog called thelittleduckwife, and I highly recommend anyone to read it, especially college-aged girls. She is super honest about her struggles but always manages to put a sweet light on them.

2. @kathryn_foreman

Kathryn is one of those people where if I see she has posted, I'm always going to check it. Her stuff goes from random to meaningful, and it really just showcases her love for life. A lot of her stuff is rooted in her love for running and cross-country, which is really cool to me since I hate running. Kathryn also runs a blog which she uses to talk about more personal stuff, and I absolutely adore it. She's definitely one of those people that I use as encouragement not to be like her, but to be a better version of myself.

3. @lyndenhight

Sometimes I forget I don't actually know Lynden in real life because her Instagram is just so full of her personality. A lot of her photos are of her and her boyfriend, Chase, but I've never really found it to be obnoxious. She has the perfect balance of living life freely and then being open with her struggles and pains. She's also the cutest thing ever, and I really like to base a lot of my outfits and hairstyles after what I see her posting.

4. @mikaylabrownn

Mikayla is actually from the Burlington area, which is where I currently go to school and I found her through a few of my friends here. She has the sweetest heart, and her Instagram is always full of awesome encouragement. Mikayla is also another one of those people who, when I see they've posted, I make sure to check it out because it's so aesthetic and inspiring.

5. @1corinthians13_love

I just recently started following Emma Mae after I saw Mary Kate post about her in her blog, and I have to say, she's become one of my favorites. As per my theme, I really just love the freedom and joy she expresses about life and the Lord. It's so contagious! Emma Mae also just has a way with words that I think can strike anyone and make them think about how they view life. I haven't yet read her blog, but it's for sure on my list!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
