Ahhhh, social media. I love it.

Instagram is by far my favorite social media because you can find content for literally anything you could possibly want to search for. My favorites? All the food and fashion accounts.

Pinterest overwhelms me. I love it, but OMG so much content and the fact that I have over 10,000 pins makes me realize I will never be able to afford all those outfits or make every single chocolate chip cookie recipe I've pinned.

Instagram is the sh*t for this kind of stuff. I follow several food and fashion accounts and love that I can go to their page anytime and get inspired by their content. If you're IN LOVE with Instagram like me, here's the social media accounts you need to be following for every aspect of your life.

Food & Drink:

How Sweet Eats

Jessica seriously has the most GORGEOUS food photos and everything she makes is totally mouthwatering. She also just came out with a new cookbook that I need to buy ASAP.

Restoring Radiance

Not only is she the sweetest person on the planet, but everyday she posts easy, everyday breakfast, lunch, and dinner inspo pictures. She also gets super real on her Instagram stories about what its like to have had and recover from an eating disorder. Delicious recipes and super good insight

Health and Wellness:

Ambitious Kitchen

Not only does she have the most beautiful pictures, but she posts constantly about self-love, being a total lady boss, and all the products she uses (like the ones above) to give herself some self-care. Monique's blog was the first one I started reading and is still my favorite to this day.

Imma Eat That

So many things I adore about this woman. Kylie, a Registered Dietitian, focuses on helping people with their eating disorders, pushing the idea of "Intuitive Eating," and posting lots and lots of pictures of her new adorable baby. She posts watercolor paintings of inspirational and thought-provoking images. She also has the best cookie recipes.

Fashion and Beauty:

Sara Sab/Sabby Style

Sara is my favorite fashion blogger. She's not afraid of color and always has the absolute cutest accessories. Also, her shoes are completely fabulous... I want every pair.

Accounts to Make You Laugh:

Alexis Waters

AKA Dolphin Girl from Nick's season of "The Bachelor." I adore this woman and wish I could have such a care-free no-F's-given kind of attitude like her. Her stories of her mom make me literally laugh out loud and, TBH, her boyfriend is hot.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
