Graduation is such a pivotal moment in our lives. It's also a really weird time in our lives. You're moving on to a new chapter in your life, you're uncertain of your future, you're growing up and everything is changing. I've compiled the best graduation songs for 2018 to sum up the experience of growing up and moving on for the perfect, bittersweet graduation playlist.

1. Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield

an optimistic anthem about where you are going next in life...

2. Green Day - Good Riddance

3. Miley Cyrus Feat. Emily Osment - Wherever I Go

I cry every freakin' time. Not only does this song make you miss Hannah Montana and the old Disney channel, but it makes you think about being without your best friend... all very sad.

4. Post Malone - Congratulations

This list needed something a little more hype... you are graduating, after all, you're leaving anything you hated about high school behind and celebrating all your hard work. How can it not be one of the best graduation songs of 2018?

5. RENT Original Cast - Seasons of Love

Again, lots of crying, but this one's just about life in general. Each year of your life is different, make the most of it.

6. Fleetwood Mac - Landslide

"And I'm getting older too..." This was my graduation song and it's all about your personal journey to get to where you are now.

7. Simple Minds - Don't You Forget About Me

There's no way this classic wasn't going to make the list. I couldn't leave the anthem to teen angst and rebellion out of this list

8. High School Musical Cast - High School Musical

if you ever want to cry your eyes out and feel extremely nostalgic watch high school musical 3 the night before your graduation... whether you're a fan or not, the song speaks to how there are some parts of high school you never want to let go.

9. Wicked Original Cast - For Good

Think about your best friend and the relationships you've had and this song never fails to miss them even when you haven't left them yet. Obviously it's a song about friends, but why not have it be defined as a graduation song for 2018, too?

10. Imagine Dragons - It's Time

I don't know if it's because of Perks Of Being A Wallflower, but this song always made me feel inspired to make a change in my life, and that's what graduation is

11. The Rembrandts - I'll Be There For You

How could I not include the Friends theme song? No matter where you go, your hometown and the friends that come with it will always have your back

12. Semisonic - Closing Time

13. Rob Thomas - Little Wonders

This song will make you look around and appreciate moments as they're happening and appreciate the small things in life

14. Miley Cyrus - The Climb

The journey to graduate was a climb and so will the journey to graduate college, this song will always apply to your life. ALWAYS

15. Taylor Swift - Never Grow Up

Waterfall of tears... looking back on your childhood and missing it is sad enough, but every descriptive lyric in this song is relatable

16. Third Eye Blind - Graduate

17. Panic! At The Disco - Victorious

Another song to hype you up for the future and bang your head to

18. Zara Larson - Never Forget You

19. Taylor Swift - Fifteen

the perfect song for looking back on your freshman year

20. Avril Lavigne - Here's To Never Growing Up

21. One Republic - Good Life

22. John Mayer - No Such Thing

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
