What is Inspiration? What does it mean? The definition of inspiration, according to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, is "something that makes someone want to do something or that gives someone an idea about what to do or create:a force or influence that inspires someone." This could mean many different things depending on the person. Each individual has one thing, or more that inspires them to do everything that they do and be who they are. Inspiration can come from various aspects in life. It can come from the people in our lives, such as our family members (parents, siblings, etc.), friends, teacher/professors or anyone that comes into our lives. People also have their inspiration derive from other things, like nature, music, religion, art, personal experiences and much more. Anything in this world can inspire someone to do or create something great and in turn, they could inspire someone else to do the same or give them a completely different idea. Inspiration can move through generations of people, all around the world, creating new ideas inside of everyone and new opportunities that some people may not have seen before. It can reveal itself at the most unusual times and places where you may not expected to find.

Inspiration is something I have all the time every day of my life. It comes in many different forms for me, depending on where I am or go during the day. I'm able to come up with ideas from the inspirations that I have and with those ideas I am able to create different things from them. Whether it is a song, a picture, or anything that pops into my head, my inspirations come from numerous aspects of my life.

One of my biggest inspirations are my personal experiences, such as things that I see or hear throughout my day, or what I see other people go through. Seeing this inspires me to help other people through their struggles, or volunteer to help out with where people might just need it. My experiences also inspire me to create new song lyrics with different messages to them. Writing songs or poems about what I see, hear, and experience gives me new perspectives of how I can help people through my words. Giving people positive thoughts to think about everyday, and seeing those people happy

with who they are gives me more inspiration to continue to do the same thing again. Currently I am an undergraduate Music Education Major, I want to become a music teacher after graduate school, helping children is my inspiration. I want to help them find who they are on the inside and to see the best parts of themselves, no matter where they come from or where they plan to go into the future. They are the reason why I want to be a teacher, through music I believe I can show other people how I feel and show kids how they can express themselves.

Inspiration comes in many different forms at many different times in our lives and it can lead us to do amazing things, things to help everyone around us.
