The inspiration of the moment is a form of inspiration and the kind that doesn’t always stick to a person. It acts as a placeholder in one's mind, the one that calls for sitting and staring and pondering within one's head to reach it. It then becomes the type of inspiration that drives someone crazy due to the compulsion to reach an idea or that “spark” that is required to achieve results, and in my life, this is the inspiration that becomes an irritation to me like a spider that won’t go away! The spider is the thing that you don’t want to be in your house with you, but you know that it can exterminate the other bugs that bother you, creating the effect of being both helpful but menacing simultaneously. Sources of the inspiration of the moment are similar to this; you need it at that moment but the ideas just won’t flow as they should, causing complications. That same spider uses it webs for the basis of its survival; the webs can support the body of the spider, catch and hold all kinds of things and do much more. Ideas work similarly to this manner as you can either have multiple ideas at once and just not know which one is the correct or best option or have an empty mind, working to even find the inspiration.

The other problem with inspiration is that the idea can be perfect as can be in your mind, but the planning and implementation of the idea to bring it to its final stage is what ruins everything and then leads to a state of humiliation. This is how the world works, no? This makes the ideas that are lacking full vision the fault of the one handling it, right? A person can be proficient in something and yet the one time they attempt to do something their way, it doesn’t work as planned. But this is why it is so important to try, and sometimes one's vision has to keep evolving and have several iterations before perfection or final completion is achieved! I believe that many people find it hard to find inspiration right off the bat, and this is what can make everyday tasks or daily living impossible to overcome. That itch or spider doesn't go away until your vision is achieved to your satisfaction. People in varying stages of happiness will accept things differently than others depending on the source and become very dependent on the interactions with the source to get a project defined.

I find that when I have to do group projects, or even with schoolwork in college, a source of inspiration must be met or at least forced in order to complete the work successfully. The lack of inspiration leads to less studying or putting your all into the work and can lead to a downfall in the aftermath, which is a potential lesser grade in the class. College is as other stages of school; kids become lazy with their workloads at certain time frames and do not improve the specific feelings towards the class, such as being apathetic or not liking the classes, thus sometimes affecting their performance. These types of classes tend to drain me more than the ones I actually try hard in or like, which to me seems confusing; but I assume how inspiring or captivating I feel towards certain classes will be proven with how I do. I have to find the inspiration and creative vision even with the less than desirable classes. This applies to daily life as well; how engaged one is with the current events that occur and life’s activities can determine the emotions associated with that current vision or project. So channel your inner spider and let your visions blossom into something great! Fuel your inspiration with a walk out in nature, a dance in the rain, or a coffee by the lake! Produce results any and everywhere!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
