I’ve been inspired by Star Wars ever since I can remember and to say I’m a fan of the franchise is kind of an understatement. Once a year I have Star Wars marathon where I sit on the couch and watch every episode in chronological order from start to finish, only getting up to go to the bathroom and to answer the door for the pizza man. When The Force Awakens came out a year ago I saw the movie four times in theaters, within the first two weeks of its release. I went as Princess Leia for Halloween three years in a row. I’ve spent countless hours researching the Galaxy far, far away and looking up fan theories about Rey. Sometimes I try to impress guys with my extensive Star Wars knowledge and usually it doesn’t work out but hey, that’s a part of me that I’m not ashamed of. So just as Star Wars has inspired me in life, I’m here to inspire you with some of the best quotes from all seven movies!

"Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose." Yoda

This is as deep is at gets and depressing as hell. Sometimes we know things and people will soon come to an end in our lives. It’s difficult to think about a future without them. Master Yoda is simply telling us to prepare ourselves emotionally for when this time comes.

“Never tell me the odds” Han Solo

Whether you are fighting off Imperial TIE fighters or trying to pass a chemistry class, ignore all the BS statistics and chances you are given when trying to achieve something. Odds are stupid, self-knowledge is everything.

“Your eyes can deceive you. Don’t trust them.” Obi Wan Kenobi

I like to put this quote in the context of cute guys that like to break hearts. Easy on the eyes, but hard on the heart.

Your focus determines your reality” Qui Gon Jinn

He only appeared in one episode but his wisdom was enough for all seven. Whatever you chose to focus on in life, essentially is your life. So focus on the positives and you’ll feel positive.

“All mentors have a way of seeing more of our faults than we would like. It’s the only way we grow.” Padme Amidala

Parents, coaches, professors, Jedi masters… they know us best and it’s their job to point out our mistakes and correct us when we’re wrong to make us into better humans. So respect them when they do!

“Let go of your hate.” Luke Skywalker

Speaking like a true hippie Luke Skywalker. It’s easier said than done but learning to do this will set you free from the dark side!!

“Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future.” Yoda

Yoda is the epitome of wisdom and inspiration. I’m leaving you with this quote because it’s importance is so under looked. The choices we make in our current situation are the building blocks of our future. Everything we do today will determine tomorrow. The future is now ya’ll!

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
