This week, during a visit to the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester, my creative spirit encountered a wonderful experience: a Monet painting titled Waterloo Bridge: Veiled Sun. Because I love beautiful things and do my best to surround myself with them, I purchased a postcard of it, and have since carried it around with me.
All week, the lovely lavenders and pinks depicted have been on my mind, and by now I've found them seeping into my fashion sense. Of course, inspirational content like this painting must be shared, for which reason I've here put together a theoretical outfit for those of you who, like me, are captivated by both a love of this painting and of fashion.
Due to the nature of the inspiration, I thought I'd go for an "art girl" vibe:

So there you have it! Though I have typically spent very little mental energy on purples and pinks, I find myself newly appreciative of them, thanks to Monet's lovely painting. I hope you feel encouraged to incorporate these lovely colors into your own wardrobe!
