Insomnia sucks.

Insomnia with anxiety sucks even more.

When you can’t sleep, it’s already stressful and frustrating enough.

For me, I have anxiety and insomnia so when I can’t sleep my mind races with anxious thoughts about the next day.

Some thoughts that race through my mind are:

Am I going to wake up on time? Am I going to be late for class?

Why can’t I sleep? I’m going to be so tired tomorrow if I can’t sleep.

These anxious thoughts make me toss and turn and lose countless hours of sleep over it.

There are ways to help this though.

Having good sleep hygiene, which means going to bed and waking up at the same time every day.

Staying off your phone and other sources of technology an hour before you sleep.

But, unfortunately, those two Thor’s are incredibly hard for college students to do.

My sleeping habits have gotten a bit better, but when I am more anxious, it’s definitely harder for me to sleep and stay asleep.

Some things that help me calm down is singing a song in my head or listening to music. It get my mind calm and makes me not have racing thoughts of anxiety.

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
