Thank you to my Mom

I honestly don’t know what I would do without you. Your strength encourages me every day to be the best I can be. You always know how to cheer me up after a rough day, and make me smile. You let me rant, and you don’t get mad when I “borrow” something and never bring it back.

Thank you to my dad.

I honestly don’t know what I would do without you making me laugh all the time. You always listen to my craziest of ideas, and never judge them.. at least in front of my face. You always want the best for me, no matter how much we might fight about whatever the issue might be.

Thank you to my brother.

Thank you for teaching me how to toughen up at a young age, and giving me somebody to always look up from such a young age to now. I know we don't always get along, but I know your always there for me. You always make me a proud sister no matter what.

Thank you to my extended family.

I honestly don’t know where I would be without the countless memories we’ve made. I know there will never be a boring moment with you all because we are usually laughing. The countless family vacations and inside family jokes are something that will always be there.

Thank you to my best friend cousin.

I don’t know what I would do without your advice and people never knowing which of us are which. Whenever we are together we are always laughing and smiling. You’re my go to make up artist and my forever best friend. We always do crazy adventures on family vacations like our crazy bikes.

Thank you to my person.

I honestly don’t know what I would do without you on a daily basis. Even though we don’t go to the same school you’re always there for me. I know whenever I text you or snapchat you will always answer. You’ve been through everything with me. You are always there for me when I want to tell you a story or I need to laugh and call someone and tell about my day. I will always be there for you and I know you’ll always be there for me.

Thank you to my crazy best friend.

Thank you for always being there for me, I’m lucky enough to know you since our younger days and been best friends with you for years. We went through the awkward stages of elementary school together. I would be lost without your advice even if it harsh sometimes. You tell me how things are, and everybody needs that. I am lucky to have you in my life.

Thank you to my home best friends.

I’m lucky that even though I don’t always see you guys, when we are together we are always laughing. Although we all go to different schools we all keep in touch all the time because our friendships are something that is valued. I know you guys are always there to make me smile and laugh.

Thank you to my best friend's Mom.

Thank you for being my second mom, and loving me like one of your own. We've had countless laughs. I’m lucky to be best friends with your daughter, but I also lucky to know your always there for my family.

Thank you to my graduating class field hockey players.
It’s crazy how many summers from freshman year, we spent together during preseason, running miles upon miles. But I’ll never forget the laughs we shared at field hockey camp, and during practices. We had so many memories over the years. You guys taught me so much, and I miss playing field hockey and seeing you guys.

Thank you to past coaches.

Although, throughout my life not just my four years of high school I experienced many different coaches. All my coaches taught me how to become not only a better player, but a better person. I’m forever thankful for everything my coaches taught me because it has helped me become the person I am today.

Thank you to my college.

I am so lucky that I got accepted to my first choice school, and I’m even luckier that I love it as much as I do.

A thank you to my roommate.

I am thankful that I get to share a room with someone who I consider more than a roommate but more like a sister. I would be lost without your humor and our adventures. I'm lucky that we are basically the same person, and we will always be in each others lives. I am happy to know that at the end of the day you will always be there. Also that you'll get tater tots with me after a rough day.

A thank you to the non-roommate roommate.

Even though we might joke fight sometimes, I know that you are also like one of my sisters. I can always count on you to get a food with me, and go to museums. I'm beyond thankful that we became friends, because I honestly don't know what I would do without you coming to visiting 5302 all the time, watching the Bachelor with me even though you hate the show, and having deep conversations with me. You are my favorite non-roommate roommate.

A thank you to my college friends.

I’m so lucky to have the friends I have at college. Going into college, I was a scared freshman. I didn’t know what to expect, and once I met all you. I knew I had nothing to worry about. You all know how to make me laugh and smile. I’m beyond lucky to have all of you in my life. We've made so many memories and can't wait to make more.

A thank you to my puppy.

Thank you for letting me cuddle with you when I’m home for school and always being excited to see me when I come home.

A thank you to my roommate friends.

Thank you for expecting me as one of your own, you all such fun people to be around and I’m lucky that I’ve got to meet some of you in person, and those who I haven’t I can’t wait to meet you.

I'm beyond thankful for the people in my life, the ones who have been here for me during the ups and downs in my lives. I would be lost without these people, and although I know I don't say Thank you enough, thank you for being in my life

Sincerely

Kristi

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
