If you have seen Avengers: Infinity War, chances are you have not stopped hyperventilating yet. I saw the movie this past Friday night and I am still very much not okay.

I will be listing the moments that plucked (or obliterated) my feelings as they rank in importance to me, so they will not be in the order of how they happen in the movie.

1. Peter Parker grasping on to Tony in an attempt to stay.

This is partially because Tom Holland is such a great actor for his role. but it is also because I have a little brother. Coincidentally, my little brothers favorite Marvel character is Spiderman. So naturally as Peter was begging the universe not to make him leave, I was thinking of my little brother. The youth of the character made that loss sting in a way that was too realistic.

2. EVERYONE FADING AWAY.

EVERYONE. Ok, like not literally everyone, but JUST ABOUT EVERYONE. And I was very not okay. Which is why I'm trying to picture everyone as they are above before they faded away into nothingness. That's all I'm saying on the subject.

3. Vision's sacrifice being taken away from him.

The love that blossomed between Vision and Wanda was real and true. This is why, just like all star-crossed lovers, it was doomed to end in tragedy. In an attempt to save half of the beings that lived in the Galaxy, Vision sacrifices himself. Wanda destroys the infinity stone, thus killing Vision. Everyone believes that they have succeeded in stopping Thanos. That is because they do not know he is in possession of the time-stone. The painful sacrifice turned into a brutal murder that Wanda had to watch.

4. Gamora asking Quill to kill her.

Although it was broken up by the coming relief of Quill asking Gamora if the grenades he was holding was the 'blow your b*lls off' kind, it was still gut-wrenching. Gamora knew that Thanos would eventually find her, and she decided to move against the motives of her psuedo-father. That meant asking the one person in their universe that has always truly loved her to take her life before Thanos could get the information he needed.

5. The post-credit scene.

It has become public knowledge that Marvel is known to leave at least 3 'post-credit' scenes to keep everyone excited for the next story in the MCU. Those scenes are usually filled with our heroes learning new information or otherwise giving us a glimmer of hope for the future. Meaning, everyone waits until the lights have come back on in the theater waiting for those scenes. Well, it was a LONG (or at least it felt long) wait for that single-post credit scene. Since it was not technically a 'future' scene, I did not quite feel a glimmer of hope. Well, not until you saw that tiny symbol...

6. Loki's death.

Sure, he spent the majority of his time in the Marvel Universe as a giant a**hole, but towards the end you really begin to like him. The old Loki would not have hesitated to let his brother die just to be able to keep the tesseract. While it seemed to be heading down that familiar path, he didn't. He attempted to kill Thanos, dying in the process. The one time he didn't deserve it too...

So if you read this without having seen the movie...sorry, I guess? But at least now you know to bring tissues!

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
