With the weather attempting to get nicer and the days getting longer comes the time for couples who need more unique dates to go on. However, the dates that seem the most fun and interesting can also be some of the most expensive to achieve. So here is a list of ten date ideas for any couple that are just as fun as going to an expensive dinner or horseback riding along the beach.

1. An epic movie night inside a pillow fort

Gather up all the blankets and pillows you can find in your living space and make the most cozy mini home ever. Turn on some Netflix, grab your favorite snacks, and relax.

2. Hit up the closest laser tag joint

Laser tag does cost a little money but the experience is still a great one. Running around playing tag with thousands of lasers blasting off around you can be very exilerating.

3. Lay in a hammock on a nice day

Find a couple trees close together, get your hammock out from the attic, and just swing together while talking about whatever your heart desires.

4. Cook together and have a nice picnic at the park

Cooking together can be a great and playful experience. Whether you're cooking a full course meal or just your favorite homemade chocolate chip cookie recipe, have fun and enjoy the nice weather, and the great food when you've finished.

5. Hiking and camping along the trail

For the outdoorsy couples, this is a great idea for working out together, or just relieving some stress. Find a nice trail early morning and make it your task to complete the trail by noon. Maybe treat yourselves to coffee afterwards.

6. Arts and crafts night at the house

Hit up the Pinterest boards and do whatever DIYs that catch your eye. There are so many fun ideas for couples, or just for your home as well. The more complex the DIY, the longer you have to sit and really get to know each other.

7. Stargazing together

Who hasn't wanted to go stargazing at least once before? Grab some blankets and find a nice quiet area. This experience is so peaceful and can really help you get to know someone better.

8. Visit the local animal shelter

Don't have puppies and kitties of your own? Good thing there is a whole place full of animals wanting your love and affection. Just be prepared to possibly get too attached and come home with a new friend.

9. Indoor spa night

Face masks, home makeovers, maybe some nail polish? Just have a fun and relaxing night in together.

10. Make a date idea jar together

These ideas don't really sound great to you and your partner? That's okay! Make a date together to plan out future dates. Grab a mason jar and some popsicle sticks, and write down on the sticks all the dates and ideas you guys want to have together sometime in the future. Whenever you don't know what to do for that night, just pull out a stick!

Whatever you and your partner do for date ideas, make sure you are both enjoying the experience together. It doesn't matter how much money you spend or what fancy place you end up in, you're dating because you enjoy each others company, and that's the key to any relationship.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
