For many people, India is the perfect winter destination because of the warm weather and exotic destinations. When you go, there's 5 places you must absolutely visit.

5. Backwaters of Kerala

Kerala is known as God's own country, and it truly is really heavenly.

A hill station, Kodaikanal is one of the many tea-producing places in India. It's a must-visit place for every visitor.

3. Jim Corbett National Park

Serengeti National Park in Tanzania isn't the only place to go for a true safari experience. Jim Corbett National Park provides a similar savanna setting. Also, here you get the chance to meet the real Bengal tiger.

Nestled in the Himalayas, Kashmir can't be described in words. It's a breathtaking place, see for yourself.

1. And of course, the Taj Mahal

How could this list exist without the Taj Mahal? I remember the first time I went there and saw it for the first time, the white of the building just radiates through the entire atmosphere. It's one of those places you just can't miss.
