In The Eyes of a Weasel

What I imagine to be thoughts that run through a weasel's head, especially the one I saw the other day.

Pat pat pat

The sound my feet make

Once they hit the snow

The way it crunches with my light touch

I scurry across the ice covered sidewalk

Freeze.

What is that I see in the distance?

It grows bigger...

As it gets closer...

Is it what my mom told me to always avoid?

The two legs?

I believe so!

They don't seem so bad from what I was told

The girl walks towards me with curiosity filling her eyes

Her curiosity makes me curious...

What is she curious about?

Oh no!

She comes to me

And admires my moves

Glancing all over the tree

I am curious to know if she will follow me around the tree

As I scamper from one side to the other

I see her big eyes again

Wow she is everywhere I look

What is she pulling out now?

Whatever it is, she is pointing it at me

I escape to the other side

But there she is again!!

What am I gonna do?!

Maybe if I just stay still for a minute

.......

Ah ha!

She's gone!

I can go home now all safe and sound

I think I know why mama always told me to only go out at night...

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
