To the author of this, I do give you perks and I can see where you're coming from. But the way you are stating your points is just so unjustified. According to Merriam-Webster the definition of feminism is "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes". Which means that our physical appearance has jack-shit to do with feminism. I mean that's honestly just ignorant mentioning it. You're right, men and women are physically different, and so are women and women, and men and men. It doesn't mean that we don't deserve equality, because if that's what your basis is then nobody is equal. And I understand that there are definitely groups that can go overboard, taking it to an extreme, and trying to undermine the male sex.
But you also have to understand the male patriarchy that has so dominated our society is the cause of a lot of these feelings. There is still no female president, and although the women in government definitely went up, it doesn't mean anything when they aren't being treated with the same dignity and respect that the men are (or getting paid as much!).
Plus you saying that women in the workforce is "still new", is just a crock of B.S. In my major I study the pasts of many cultures, even when there was no known currency women have been working along men in society for as long as history predates itself. Just take a look at hunter-gatherer societies. You can't have one without the other.
And according to you "we're okay"? Have you not seen how much sexual assault is on the rise? How rape culture is permitted in our society? How it's just "locker room talk" for guys to sexually degrade women in interviews (not just Trump it's happened with others). We are not okay. As women we are still not equal to men.
To sum up the argument for feminism I'm going to go back to one of your earlier points. The rights of women in the U.S has nothing to do with the idea of feminism. We are fortunate, but the idea behind feminism is equality for women world wide. Do not belittle the cause by being uneducated about what people (not just women) are working towards.
