Turning on her CD player, she felt the fullness of a rich voice. The upbeat jazz and the catchy tunes made her want to get up and be swung around the room. To be dipped by her one true love. She could imagine herself now being held close by the man of her dreams. She would wear a pastel blue dress, the color of a watercolor masterpiece seated in a upscale bathroom. He would offer her a dance with a nice drink and whisk her onto the floor. They would be the center of their own universe, the stars brighter than ever.
She sat on her bed, trying to relax with the sweet sounds of his voice. The music, the tone, the melodic sway of the music made her feel simple and at peace. She felt as if she were falling in love with the man singing the sweet jazz, perhaps wanting to be the one he was talking about.
