Marketing Tips to Boost Conversions on Christmas

Christmas Holidays are just around the corner! It's that time of the year when you and your family will get together. Where you will sit by the crackling flames and lay back on your mom's warm hearth rug sipping hot cocoa, roast marshmallows and share them among your siblings. You will relax and share blissful moments with each other so why feel down when you can really cheer up!

Oh, wait! If I am not wrong, are you feeling down because you fear that your e-commerce platform isn't going to perform that well when you are away for Christmas?

Then let's put a smile on that face.

You need to utilize all the tools you have at your disposal in order to get ahead of the competition. And here is a list of some remarkable digital marketing tips that will get you ready just in time for Christmas.

Start Out with the SEO, Get Things In Order

One of the coolest things that ever happened to the Internet was Search Engine Optimization. Now, SEO is a science which does not require any rocket science or a brain-draining ideology to work on; and with just a bunch of keywords placed in the right place, your website can start ranking on number 1 in Google. With SEO, some marketing specialists have worked wonders by decreasing the odds of making a website lose potential customers and apparently resulting in increasing visitors and conversion rates.

So you want the bang out of your buck this holiday season and a bit of an effort done in the right manner from an SEO specialist will really get those sales number up for your e-commerce business. Change the essential links and keywords associated with your website to a more holiday based versions. To understand which keywords might rank better than the other, all you have to do is become a bit of an empath. Find the right ranking keywords and then associate your content with those keywords.

Craft a 360 Degree Content Marketing Strategy

It's time to go live with your blog page. You want people to realize what you are doing and how you are doing better than half the e-commerce platforms on the Internet, do it with your blog page. Publish articles, videos, and images that explains how your e-commerce platform is better; only this time, when you are doing it, do it a little differently. Add the flavor of Christmas to your content and send it out.

Create interesting topic titles such as gift ideas for family members, fashion trends for the festive season, celebrate a gadgety Christmas and alike. Once, you have covered these topics on your blog page and published it, show it away to all your loyal social media followers. You can even create snippets and run these articles in your email campaigns. What's more? You can get your content published in various newsletters as well. Just make sure that all your outreach channels speak the same language and tone.

Setup Some Special Discounts and Market Them

No holiday season work wonders for your business unless it doesn't slap up a few discounts on the deck for your audience. Try not to go too customer savvy, or they end up taking you for granted. Make sure to make your discounts nominal enough so it gets your e-commerce store the conversion it needs.

Since every other retail or wholesale store will already be offering discounts to half the world around the Internet, you sir need to make sure that you don't become the black sheep in the herd. Try to do what others are not doing in a unique way. While other businesses only change the theme of their website to a Christmas season, you also do the same but create a custom homepage design especially for Christmas.

Add all the discounts and deals that you are offering on your e-commerce store and send it out on social media. Now, instead of going through individual pages or adding custom add-ons, you will only have to market a single page and enable your audience to make their decision from that discount page directly.

Never Keep Them in the Blind If Orders Can Delay

Whether you like it or not, but customers are the heart line of your business. Customers pay to make your business survive and thrive in the global market. Holiday seasons can become really messy as more clients can drop in usual than expected. Although, your online storefront claims that they can deliver a package in a day's time, but even the fastest delivery service can end up delaying products on Christmas because it's Christmas.

Delay can occur and customers will understand. So make them aware of it when they shop at your e-commerce store. Put a small message in your website footer stating that orders might get delayed due to the Holiday season. Use a bit of your creativity and some catchy taglines to keep the season happiness alive. There is a strong chance that you might end up losing a few customers; but look at the bright side, your honesty will get you more loyal customers.

Last but Not the Least, Make Sure Your Website Loads Fast

Do you know what irritates a website visitor the most? Slow page load time. There are countless other e-commerce options which the user could've availed but they chose to visit your store! Now, you don't want someone who visited your store walk right away from the doorstep because no one was there to get the door for them. At times like Christmas, slow website load time can become the biggest bet to lose.

You certainly can't afford that, now can't you?

First of all get a reliable host and scale up your server to adjust traffic spikes accordingly. There is a chance that many people might drop in to purchase stuff from your website without you knowing about it.

Also, you can attach a survey to your web page where people can provide their feedback.

The more you learn, the more you grow.

So that's all for the happy Christmas season folks! Just follow these steps and I am sure your e-commerce store will run beautifully while you enjoy the most scrumptious Christmas dinner with family.

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
